Local shops threatened
Cllr Harkness hands over a further 500 signatures for his petition

Mark Buttress, who owns Jaybee's Mace shop at Kings Furlong Parade, has organised a petition to highlight that a Tesco store would threaten the survival of local shops.

Councillor Kevin Harkess is concerned that a new Tesco store would also have an adverse impact on the Brighton Hill Centre and lead to traffic chaos at Brighton Hill roundabout.

Kevin is seen handing Mark a further 500 names to add to the petition.
