Local Borough Councillors John Shaw and Doris Jones are campaigning for funding to place the clock from the
old Thornycroft Works on the roundabout nearest the Works site (now Morrisons Supermarket).
Brookvale campaigners John and Doris think that unused money from developers' lying in the
Council's bank accounts should be used to put this historic landmark back on the Basingstoke map
