Enough to Fill the Albert Hall - Twice over!

In a recently published article in the Basingstoke Gazette our borough group leader Councillor John Shaw, and our team counted the potholes in their wards. They then multiplied the average by the number of wards and worked out that there could be about 8,000 potholes in Basingstoke.

Now according to the Beatles iconic song on the Sgt Pepper LP "Life in a Day" quoted 4,000 potholes in Blackburn , Lancashire - enough to fill the Albert Hall. Well, we don't know how accurate the song is but you can read the full article at:
