Cllr Stuart Parker Challenges Cabinet

Councillor Stuart Parker (Lib Dem, Eastrop) has challenged the Conservative Cabinet on several topics at the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 25th May.

Stuart Challenged the Conservatives on their commitment to protecting open spaces and called on them to strengthen the planning guidance particularly for the maintenance and development of urban open space and green corridors. Lib Dems believe that these need to be given a much higher priority.

When questioned on the issue of the controversial proposed new joint working on waste collection with Hart District Council, the Conservative Portfolio Holder was unable to answer the questions and instead has promised to send a written answer.
