Changes to constituency boundaries mean that the Old Basing and Upton Grey ward of Basingstoke and Deane will now be part of the North East Hampshire constituency, along with Bramley ward.

We have a very committed and capable prospective parliamentary candidate in Alex Brewer, who has been campaigning for several months already. Alex has a very real chance of success against the sitting MP, while canvass returns suggest his unpopularity on the doorsteps means no other party's candidate has any real chance.
